I first met Sophie + Jack back in October last year! We met over coffee in Birmingham to have a chat about their upcoming wedding and whether I’d be the right photographer for them! As soon as we met, I knew that I wanted to be the photographer for their big day! They were so cute together and I could feel the excitement radiating off them when they talked about finally getting married to their best friend!

I was over the moon when they got back to me and asked me to photograph their special day, and I was even more excited when they wanted to book an engagement shoot!

I think pre wedding shoots are such a great idea, especially if you’re feeling slightly nervous about having the attention on you on your wedding day; this is a really good practice… and a great way to see that it actually isn’t all that scary! It allows you to see how I work as a photographer before you see me on your wedding day, and for us to get to know each other so much better….Also- it’s FUN and you get some really cute pictures of the two of you after!

In November, Sophie + Jack joined me on a drizzly morning at Cannock Chase, where we had a lovely walk around, taking in the beautiful sights of the forest… stalking dogs… dodging the rain… and having a general good old chin wag! These pair absolutely killed it, and were all kinds of adorable together! Sophie + Jack.. You’re awesome!! Cannot wait for your big day!!!
